Rajeev Gandhi Novodaya Vidyalaya Bageshwar  is a co-educational boarding  school affiliated to CBSE New Delhi established in 2009. First this school is stated in G.I.C. Bageshwar building this school is started  with only 26 students from class VI. At present there are more than 118 students upto class X. In continuation of this series according to the letter from Secretary U.K. Government letter no. – 1171/XXIV-3/12/02(01)11 Middle Education Section-03  Deharadun dated 24 september 2012 this name Shayama Prasad Mukharjee Abhinav Vidyalaya is changed into Rajeev Gandhi Novodaya Vidyalaya Bageshwar. The noble aim of establishing this school is to give equal educational  opportunities for the gifted students of poor and deprived section of society. This is one of the school i.e. inaguated by state government of Uttarakhand in2009 out of five similar school in different district as Udham Singh Nagar, Chamoli, Rudrapryag,Uttarkashi and Bageshwar also.
